# Troubleshooting

> Fixes for the most common problems: failed trades, missing deposits, launches, notifications and payouts.

## Trading

> [accordion] My trade failed
>
> The most common reasons:
>
> * **The price moved past your slippage.** Nothing was bought or sold. Try again, or allow a little more slippage. See [Buying and selling](https://docs.2hour.fun/trading.md#slippage).
> * **Not enough ETH or SOL for the network fee.** Keep a little in your wallet for fees, even when you're selling.
> * **The network was busy.** Wait a moment and try again.
>
> The pop-up tells you why a trade failed. A failed transaction can still use a small network fee.

> [accordion] My trade is taking a long time
>
> The network may be busy. Open the transaction link in the trade's pop-up to see it on the chain's explorer. Don't send the same trade again straight away, or you could end up buying twice.

> [accordion] My balance or position looks wrong
>
> Balances and positions update within a few seconds of a confirmed trade. Refresh the page if one hasn't. Prices are shown in dollars at today's ETH and SOL prices, so a position's dollar value moves with them.

## Deposits and withdrawals

> [accordion] A deposit isn't showing
>
> * **Check the network.** ETH must be sent on **Robinhood Chain** and SOL on **Solana**. Funds sent on another network won't arrive, and usually can't be recovered.
> * **Check the address.** It must match your trading wallet's address in **Add funds**.
> * **Give it a few minutes.** Exchanges can take a while to send. Look the transaction up on the explorer: if it's confirmed there, it'll show in your wallet.

> [accordion] I sent funds to the wrong address or network

> Unfortunately nobody can reverse a blockchain transaction, including 2hour.fun. Use the address book and switch on **Only send to saved addresses** to avoid it in future. See [Your wallet](https://docs.2hour.fun/wallet.md#withdrawing).

## Launching

> [accordion] I can't launch my coin
>
> * **The window is closed.** Coins can only launch in the daily window. You can [reserve a launch](https://docs.2hour.fun/reservations.md) for the next one instead.
> * **Not enough ETH or SOL.** You need the \$500 launch fee, any dev buy, and a little for the network fee.
> * **The dev buy is too big.** Dev buys are capped at 50% of the supply.
> * **The name is reserved.** Some names can't be used. Pick another.

> [accordion] My coin isn't on the lists
>
> Just launched? It can take a few seconds to appear. Coins are only listed if they launched inside the window through 2hour.fun and paid the launch fee.

> [accordion] My coin is labelled Copy
>
> An earlier coin, launched in the 7 days before yours or still trading, used the same ticker, the same name or the same picture. The label follows the rule automatically. See [Original and Copy](https://docs.2hour.fun/original-and-copy.md).

> [accordion] I reserved a launch and missed the window
>
> A reservation must be finalised in the next window, or the deposit is lost. The deposit is non-refundable. See [Reservations](https://docs.2hour.fun/reservations.md).

## Notifications and sounds

> [accordion] I'm not getting notifications
>
> * **On iPhone,** notifications only work from the home-screen app, not a Safari tab. See [Alerts and notifications](https://docs.2hour.fun/alerts-and-notifications.md).
> * **Turn them on** for this device under the bell, and choose which ones you want.
> * **Allow them** for 2hour.fun in your phone's or browser's settings.
> * **With 2hour.fun open in front of you,** you get a pop-up instead of a push notification.

> [accordion] I can't hear any sounds

> Check the sounds are switched on in **Settings**. Browsers only allow sound after you've clicked or tapped the page once, so tap anywhere on the site first.

## Payouts and fees

> [accordion] I haven't received a payout
>
> Referral earnings, shill earnings and holder rewards are paid automatically, but very small amounts, under about \$2, are saved up and sent once they pass it. A big payment, or one on a very busy day, is checked by the team before it's sent, so it can take longer. Every payment is listed on the [Payouts](https://docs.2hour.fun/payouts.md) page.

> [accordion] My Refund Bot win hasn't arrived
>
> Wins usually arrive within about a minute, in the coin's pair token, or partly in ETH, SOL or another token at the same value. A big win is checked by the team first, so it can take longer. Check your wallet's full balance list, then the [Payouts](https://docs.2hour.fun/payouts.md) page.

> [accordion] How do I get my creator fees?
>
> Claim them from your profile at any time. You need a little ETH or SOL for the network fee.
