The options
The time is counted from when you lock, not from the launch. When a lock ends, only the dev’s wallet can take the coins back.
On Robinhood Chain, time locks are coming soon. The lock contract isn’t live yet, so for now only a burn can be confirmed on a Robinhood Chain coin. Time locks work on Solana, and burning works on both chains.
How to lock
1
Pick it on Create
Under Lock your dev buy, choose 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 1 year or Burn. It’s Off unless you pick one, and isn’t offered when you’re reserving a launch.
2
Confirm it on the coin page
Once your coin is live, its page has your pick ready. One tap, then confirm in the wallet that launched the coin.
- Everything in your launch wallet goes in: every coin of it that wallet holds, not just part.
- Robinhood Chain: your wallet may ask you to approve the coin first, then lock it.
- Solana: locks are made with Streamflow, an outside token-lock service, set so they can’t be cancelled or handed to anyone else.
- Robinhood Chain locks use 2hour.fun’s own lock contract. It has no owner, no admin and no pause: the only way out is the dev taking the coins back after the unlock time.
What everyone sees
- Under the coin’s About: every lock and burn, with how many coins, their share of the supply, when a lock ends, and a Check it link to see it on the chain.
- At the top of the coin’s page: a gold Locked badge with the time left, or Dev burned, when the lock or burn took at least half of what the dev held at the time. Smaller ones are still listed under About.
