New coins can only be created during one 2-hour window each day. Trading is open 24/7 on every coin. The window only limits creating new coins.

When it opens

The window runs from 21:00 to 23:00 UTC every day, on both chains at once. The countdown in the site’s top bar always shows the live times, so check it if you’re planning a launch. From time to time there may also be an extra one-off window. Any extra window is announced in advance on X and in the app.

The three parts of the day

The site changes colour with the window, so you can tell where things stand at a glance. While the window is closed, creators can reserve a launch. Reserved coins show on the Upcoming page before they go live.

Sounds and notifications

  • Sounds: you’ll hear a sound as it turns to Open soon, as the window opens, an hour before it closes, and as it closes. Turn them on or off in Settings.
  • Notifications: switch on Launch window under the bell to hear 2 hours, 1 hour and 5 minutes before it opens, and when it opens. See Alerts and notifications.

Why one window a day

Grouping launches into one window means each coin gets a real share of attention, instead of drowning in a non-stop stream of new coins.
Fewer launches a day makes each one matter more, for creators and for traders.
One window a day plus a real launch fee make low-effort copies of someone else’s coin far less rewarding. Copies are also labelled. See Original and Copy.
There’s a clear time when new coins appear, and less noise the rest of the day.
