The Refund Bot gives some trades their money back. A small part of 2hour.fun’s own trading fees, from every trade, goes into the Refund pot, shown in the live ticker. Every trade made on 2hour.fun by a signed-in account, on any coin and either chain, has a small chance to be refunded in full from that pot.

The rules

Not part of it: the whole size of the trade comes back.
There’s one pot for Robinhood Chain and one for Solana, shown together as one number. While a pot fills, a trade can win if it’s up to a quarter of its chain’s pot. Once the pot is full, a trade up to half of it can win, so a full $50,000 pot can refund a $25,000 trade. As the pot grows, bigger trades can be refunded.
While the pot fills, half of what goes in is paid back out as refunds on average and the other half stays in. A trade’s chance doesn’t depend on its size.
Each chain’s pot fills up to $50,000 ($100,000 across both). Once it’s full, wins come more often: refunds pay out more than comes in, so the pot stays around $50,000. It’s still filled by its part of 2hour.fun’s fees.
From time to time the odds are boosted, for a launch window, a day or longer: while a boost is on, every trade’s chance is multiplied by it, from ×2 to ×10. A boost shows in gold on the Refund pot in the live ticker and on the Payouts page, with when it ends. A win during a boost counts towards the Supercharged badge. The pot rules above still apply, and on average a boost pays out at most 5 times what comes into the pot while it’s on - so on a full pot, where the chance is already higher, a big boost raises it by less.
Only trades made on 2hour.fun by a signed-in account can win. Trades of 2hour.fun coins on other apps and bots still add to the pot, but can’t win. Buys and sells both count, before and after a coin graduates. Being signed in is all it takes.
Automatically, to your wallet, usually within about a minute. A big win, or one on a very busy day, can take longer: it’s checked by the team before it’s sent. Wins are paid in the coin’s pair token (for example TSLA for a TSLA coin). When the pot holds too little of that token, the rest is paid in ETH or SOL, or another token the pot holds, at the same value.
Example: Solana’s pot is at $400, so any Solana trade up to $100 can win. Someone buys $50 of a coin on 2hour.fun and wins. The whole $50 is sent back to their wallet, and the pot drops to $350 before new fees build it up again.

Every win is public

Winners see a pop-up and get a card they can share. Every win is listed on the Payouts page with its on-chain transaction, so anyone can check it.
Wins are random and rare. The Refund Bot is a bonus on top of trading, not a reason to trade.
