The summary shows roughly what you’ll get and any tax. Then confirm.
Instant trades
With a 2hour.fun trading wallet, trades go straight through with no pop-up to approve each one. Trades of $1,000 or more ask for a second tap. You can switch that off with Confirm big trades in Settings.Quick buy
Switch on Quick buy on Explore in Settings and each coin card gets a buy button with a preset amount you choose. It uses the same wallet, fees and slippage as the trade panel, with fewer taps. It needs your trading wallet with Instant trades on.Slippage
Prices can move in the moment between pressing Buy and your trade being processed, especially when lots of people are trading. Slippage is how far you allow the price to move. If it moves further, the trade is cancelled instead of going through at a worse price.
Tap Slippage at the bottom of any trade panel, or open Settings. Each setting is used for every trade on its side, quick ones too.
Example: you set slippage to 3% and expect about 1,000 tokens. If the price moves so much that you’d get fewer than 970, the trade is cancelled instead.
When a trade misses its price
A missed sell
A missed sell
If the price moves past your slippage, nothing is sold and you keep your coins. With Retry missed sells once on (it starts on) and Instant trades on, the sell goes again straight away, once, allowing more: 10% if it allowed less than 10%, or 20% if it allowed less than 20%.If that misses too, or the retry is off, the pop-up offers Try again and, while a step is left, a button to sell at the next step. The wider slippage is for that one sell only. Your settings stay as they are.
A missed buy
A missed buy
If the price moves past your slippage, nothing is bought. With Retry missed buys once on (it starts on) and Instant trades on, the buy goes again straight away, once, with the same amount priced afresh, at the next step up: 1% goes again at 3%, 3% at 5%, 5% at 10% and 10% at 20%. Never above 20%.It only goes again when nothing was bought, never for a buy the network didn’t confirm in time. The wider slippage is for that one buy only.
